Kinder Program
Boys & Girls Ages 5-6
Our Kinder Program is designed for Boys & Girls ages 5-6. We offer 45 minute Kinder classes in Acro, Jazz & Tap and 30 minute connecting classes in Ballet, Hip Hop, Lyrical & Musical Theater. All Kinder classes will have a performance in the 2027 Recital.
Acro is based on safe and effective progressions in five areas; flexibility, strengthening, balancing, limbering and tumbling, similar to floor gymnastics.
Ballet is a Classical dance form demanding strength, grace and precision. Ballet is used as the foundation in all dance forms.
Hip Hop is best described as high energy and original. Strengthening and conditioning will help build a solid foundation for Breaking, Locking, Housing and more.
Jazz dance combines the technique of Ballet and Modern dance with the current forms of popular dance. Jazz has its own vocabulary ranging from isolations to the movement of the entire body. The Jazz curriculum includes stretching, jumps, rhythm and various styles of movement.
Lyrical is a fusion of Jazz and Ballet styles with a concentration of Ballet technique. Lyrical focuses on fluid movements and expressive emotion. We highly recommend all Lyrical students take a weekly Ballet class.
Musical Theater is a combination of dancing and acting, similar to what would be seen in musicals and Broadway shows. Dancers learn to incorporate a personality or story line into their dancing.
Tap is a percussive style of dance. Its name comes from the tapping sound made when metal plates on the dancer’s shoes touch the floor. Students will learn to understand rhythm and timing while working on footwork and agility.

Our maximum class size for our Kinder classes is 16 dancers. If classes are closed, we will only place 2 dancers on a waitlist.
We have the right to adjust class length, reschedule or cancel any classes with low enrollment.
Dance Spectrum Member Pricing
The DS Membership Fee and 1st tuition payment are due at the time of registration.
We offer two options for the DS Membership Fee.
1. Standard DS Membership Fee includes registration into the school, standard access to class registration & waitlists, livestream viewing access, private Facebook member group, participation in the recital at Shea’s Performing Arts Center and all additional rehearsals, standard access to ticket sales, digital program book and insurance fees for our dancers.

Each Kinder Connecting Class (30 minutes) fee is $455 (paid with Cash or Check) or $473.20 (paid with Credit or Debit) for the year.
If your dancer enrolls in a 45 minutes Kinder and a connection class, this class fee will be added to the above tuition.
The tuition above is the year in full pricing for the entire season. Families have the option to break payments up into our 9 payment plan. Additional payment options are available.
Costume Fees are due November 1, 2026

**This is will be a 2-in-1 costume for a 45 minute Kinder and the connecting class**
- Cash/Check pricing reflects a savings of 4% when you pay with cash, check, or electronically via a checking or savings account.
- Late Fee: A $10 Late Fee will be applied to your account for each charge category (tuition, costumes, private lessons, competition fees etc) paid after its due date.
- TUITION: ALL accounts MUST have a primary method of payment on file. (EFT -Checking or Savings, Master Card, Visa or Discover) Payments can be made anytime up to the 1st of the month. Any unpaid accounts will automatically be processed to the primary method of payment on file at the end of business on the 1st of the month. Payment arrangements are always an option & can be made by contacting the office.
