Alex's love for dance began at the age of 3 at the Dance Spectrum. She continued to dance competitively through high school.

While tap has always been her favorite, (thanks to Miss Lynne!) she also studied jazz and ballet as well.

After graduating high school, Alex attended SUNY Geneseo, where she continued her passion for dance through the Dance Studies program. She completed a minor in Dance and received the Bertha Lederer Endowed Scholarship for Research and Performance in Dance Studies. Alex was also a member of the Geneseo Knightline Dance Team and a student assistant director for the Geneseo Dance Ensemble.

Outside of dance, Alex earned a Bachelor's in Childhood and Special Education and a Master's Degree in Literacy. She is presently a second grade teacher for the Lancaster School District. She is excited to return to her roots at Dance Spectrum, where she can combine her passion for teaching dance and working with kids in the community!
