Lily began her dance training at the age of six years old at Dance Spectrum. At the age of eight years old, Lily began dancing on the competition team and at nine years old was asked to be on the company team. She has endeavored in many various dance styles. While on the company team, she has been in many critic choice dances. Lily even was in the NYCDA and Onstage galas. Lily and her teammates won the Onstage gala in 2012 for the acro dance called Voodoo. In 2015, Lily and her fellow teammates even tried out for America’s Got Talent with her acro dance called Wonderful World. She has received scholarships from dance conventions in jazz, contemporary, ballet, hip-hop and tap. In 2018, Lily got the opportunity to dance in the Dance Awards closing show in the hip-hop section. Her favorite memories from the company

team were the parties because they all got together and made long-lasting friendships.

After graduating high school, Lily’s next step in the dance world was to become a teacher. Lily has been student teaching since her sophomore year in high school and since then her desire to teach has grown even more. Lily finds joy when a student figures out how to do a specific step and the face they get when it happens. When she is not at the dance studio, Lily attends D’Youville College to achieve her psychology degree. Her end goal is to get her masters/advanced certification in school psychology and become a school psychologist to help children.
