Renee Zerkowski
Instructor
Renee began dancing at the age of four at Dance Spectrum. She started in combination classes, then became a member of the Dance Spectrum Competition Team and, finally, became a member of the Dance Spectrum faculty four years ago.
Renee loves working with young children and always keeps a positive, upbeat attitude in and out of the classroom. Her goal is to build each student’s individual confidence through dance.
Renee holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Childhood Education and a Master’s Degree in Differentiated Instruction, both from Canisius College. When not at the studio, she teaches middle school math and science at Elmwood Village Charter School in Buffalo, New York. Renee’s students love how she brings her dance background into the academic classroom.
Currently, Renee lives in the Village of Lancaster with Ryan, her fiancé. They have planned a July 2012 wedding.
