Megan SchweersInstructor Megan started dancing at age six at Dance Spectrum. She worked her way onto the competition team at age nine and was later accepted onto the company jazz, acro, lyrical, hip hop, tap and contortion team from ages twelve to twenty. She has been a part of many top scoring and critic's choice numbers with her teammates. Some of her special solo judges' awards include "good things come in small packages," "complete," and "much attitude." When competition life was over, Megan knew she could not leave all of this behind. At a very young age, she said she wanted to grow up to be a dance teacher, and that is exactly what she is doing today. For the past four years, Megan has been teaching acro, which is her first passion. This year, she is also focusing on lyrical, jazz, and hip hop. Megan loves working with kids not only to teach them how to dance, but also to teach them disclipine, teamwork, and how to be goal-oriented. |
