Beth Pfohl

Beth was born in Buffalo, New York and began her formal dance education with Bernadine DeMike in Orchard Park, New York.  She continued her training with Ginger Burke and Gary Marino at the Royal Academy of Ballet, following which she became a member of Buffalo Ballet Theater under the direction of Gregory Drotar and Barry Leon.  She has extensive teaching experience at numerous schools in the Western New York region, including Dance Spectrum, Steppin' Out Dance Academy, Pat Taylor School of Dance, Judy Pickhardt Dance Academy, and Classical Ballet of WNY/Lockport Classical Ballet.  In addition to teaching, she has been involved in designing and creating costumes for the aforementioned studios.

Beth's most recent achievements include co-directing the childrens' rehearsals for the Ballet Met Columbus production of The Nutcracker at Shea's Performing Arts Center in Buffalo, New York in December 2006-2008.  She has also appeared as Mrs. Staulbaum and the Queen Mother in Classical Ballet of WNY's productions of The Nutcracker and Swan Lake, respectively.
