The Dance Spectrum Faculty is dedicated to not only teaching dance, but also the character and discipline that goes along with achievement. The challenging curriculum is designed to not only create highly trained dancers, but also young men and women that are committed to success on all levels of their life.

In keeping the students first and foremost at the Dance Spectrum, all members of the faculty are now trained in CPR.

Patty Polanski Neal
Artistic Director


Ms. Neal is an active member in Dance Masters of America, Dance Educators of America, National Dance Association, American Council on Exercise, the Association for Fitness Professionals, and the International Dance Exercise Association.

She has adjudicated for many dance competitions and Ms. Neal currently heads the Department of Dance at Canisius College and continues to study dance with renowned teachers and attends dance and fitness seminars throughout the country.


Suzie Wrobel
Assistant Director


Miss Suzie began taking dance classes at age 7, and at age 18 she began her solo teaching career. In the mid-1970's her teacher sent her to study with Miss Bev's Dance Studio in Niagara Falls where she was invited to become a member of Am Dance in Concert, a Tap and Jazz company under the direction of Beverly Fletcher, and dedicated to the preservation of American dance idioms. Am Dance in Concert brought Miss Suzie together with Patty Neal and she began teaching at the Dance Spectrum in 1983. Miss Suzie gives teaches Tap, Jazz and Acrobatics. She has been married to husband Peter for 25 years and is proud of her three children; Julie, Janine, and Andrew.

Debi Tonge
Studio Coordinator


Debi Tonge has been with the Dance Spectrum since it's inception in 1979. Her organizational skills as an Office Manager for an Amherst dental office prior to 1979 prepared her for the position of Studio Coordinator at the Dance Spectrum. In addition to her many duties at the studio, Miss Debi also volunteers her extra time at children's groups and religious education at her church. Her needlework can also be seen in Lancaster High School musicals and local theater groups.

Jennifer Keicher
Office Manager

Jennifer (Magiera) Keicher began dancing at the tender age of three. She came to the Dance Spectrum in 1986, where she enjoyed studying tap, jazz and ballet. Being a student teacher and a member of the Competition Team was a wonderful experience for her. She graduated from Lancaster High School in 1992. After several years of looking for the "right" job, Miss Jennifer returned to Dance Spectrum as the receptionist at the front desk. Miss Jennifer lives in Depew with husband, Brian, daughters, Hannah and Kailyn, and two Pembroke Welsh Corgi dogs, Simba and Jasmine.


Stacey Friend

Miss Stacey shares her home in Lancaster with husband Dave and her three sons DJ, Sammy and Cole. The Dance Spectrum has been her second home for 30 years. She started teaching Tap and Jazz at the age of 15. Shortly after that she studied Acro and found her passion. Her work in Jazz and Acro/Contortion has won her many awards at local and national competitions. Most recently, Miss Stacey finished her schooling and testing for the NYS Insurance and Licensing Exam. She now works with her husband part-time at his Allstate Agency. In what little spare time she has, she enjoys painting, watching old movies and building forts with her three boys.

Lynne Johnson

Miss Lynne began her dancing career at the age of 3. Although she studied at several of the local dance studios, the bulk of her training was at Dance Spectrum. She has been a dance instructor for over 20 years and has won many different awards for her choreography at local and national competitions. A Lancaster High School Alumnus, she holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Buffalo State College. Married to husband Billy, she spends her time with her three children, Ryan, and the twins, Billy and Courtney.
